Dear Lynn,

Since we adopted "Chip" from the pound last March, we have all had a wonderful year. Chip is loving and smart! Looking at his glossy coat, it is hard to believe he was covered nose to tail with crusty mange. He has overcome many fears and now loves to go for drives and plays in the river. Ever morning we take a long walk out on our trails with Chip, who would follow us anywhere. We are so grateful that you rescued this sweet dog. You kept him safe and alive so we could adopt him into our family.

Bless you and your associates.

Tommy ("Leo") and Serena

Adoption Date: June 2003 in Buffalo, Missouri

Tommy ("Leo"), Serena and I live in the bustling borough of Brooklyn, New York, where we relocated just under a year ago. Even after almost two years, not much has changed in these two adopted kitties' personalities: "Leo" is a ham--a show-off and a charmer, but not too far under the surface is a vulnerable little boy with a big heart. Serena is a "miss prissy"--a stubborn, defiant little thing and a real princess, but not too far under her surface is a loving sweetheart who loves to cuddle...

"Leo" and Serena are big music fans...I am a professional singer and practice every day in the apartment. They have become quite accustomed to my singing routines. Leo gazes up at me lovingly when I sing songs that he enjoys. He rolls over on his back, spins around like a pin wheel and meows with an almost human-like grin on his face! Serena enjoys my singing as well, but is a bit more "picky" when it comes to my musical material. She gets very upset when I sing the high notes! If l sing something that she doesn't like, she will come up and bite gently at my leg--her way of saying, "Sing something else, I don't like that!"

I adore my sweet kitties and have been so privileged to invite these abandoned sweethearts into my home. The three of us combined form a loving, tight knit family who are all lucky to have one another .

Hi,

My name is Megan P. and I am sure that you are curious as to why I have emailed you.....right.
Well I just wanted to give you a piece of positive news. Let me give you some background first so you will know what (who) I am talking about.

About 4 and 1/2 almost five months ago my boyfriend and I (Cory P.) adopted a puppy from you. At the time he was 4 months old, his name was (and still is) Jeffrey.

We fell in love with him from the beginning but we had no idea how much he would come to be the biggest part of our "family." We knew we would love him and adore him, but I really don't think we knew how much. I know you probably don't hear from your adopted animals' parents very often so I just wanted to give you a happy ending.

I don't really remember who actually introduced us to Jeffrey, but please pass this onto them and tell them THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We really couldn't have asked for or found a better dog. And as expected he is getting big. The vet confirmed that he was a German shepherd/GreatDane mix. I am so glad we found him! Jeffrey loves being outside and he is a very active/ smart puppy. He has already learned so much. He can sit, high five, dance (sorta), beg, lay down, and stay. He is so incredibly intelligent I am so excited about all the things I will be able to teach him. Thank you for saving this wonderful, intelligent, loving, puppy. I am so glad we could be the ones that have the privilege of showing him love and affection. His only worry now is becoming spoiled rotten and the occasional bath.

Enclosed is a picture for you to look at. Jeffrey is the most wonderful family member we could ever ask for.
